Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

Enter the Grindelwald Sportcenter. The Tourism Office is on your right. Walk to the back and take the stairs or elevator down. You’ll find Grindelwald VR on Level –2.

I have 3 people. Why can’t we play together?

Unfortunately, our current games are structured as team-based experiences, and odd numbers don’t work reliably. In the future, we plan to offer additional options — including staff who can join sessions to balance teams.

I have a group of more than 8. What can we do?

Larger groups are welcome. Book multiple sessions, or contact us and we’ll help you plan the best setup for your group.

What can waiting groups do?

Waiting groups can enjoy other activities under one roof, such as swimming, curling, or the indoor rope park.

Can we bring food for a kids’ party?

Usually not. For hygiene and safety reasons, outside food is generally not allowed. Please contact us in advance if you have questions.

Why can’t I get a refund if I miss my appointment?

Our sessions use limited time slots, especially on high-demand days. Last-minute cancellations and no-shows cannot be rebooked, so missed appointments are non-refundable.

What is the mission behind Grindelwald VR?

We create exciting adventures with a low carbon footprint. Our space is built using upcycled wood, and the floor is made from recycled rubber overstock.

Do you work with community groups or schools?

Yes. Grindelwald VR is open to community groups, youth organizations, clubs, and schools interested in using VR in new ways. Please contact us for more information.

Will you offer other types of VR experiences in the future?

Yes. We are actively developing new immersive experiences and aim to continue leading innovation in this space. More details will be announced in the future.
